Continuing the Legacy

Sieur de Monts National Monument was re-designated by Congress to Lafayette National Park on February 26, 1919 (it’d be renamed Acadia 10 years later), thanks in large part to conservationist George B. Dorr.  Today, Friends of Acadia works hard to preserve and protect Acadia National Park – now and for future generations.

Help support this essential mission and have your donation matched 1:1 during our spring E-Challenge.

Make a one-time donation below.

Thank you for helping preserve Acadia!

Thanks to generous gifts from our lead donors, every donation will be doubled this week. Give today, and continue the legacy of stewardship with your gift to Friends of Acadia.

Online security is our top priority. We have recently upgraded our online donation pages with a new security protocol. If you experience technical difficulties accessing donation pages, you may need to update your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.) and/or your device’s operating system to ensure all donations/payments are processed safely and securely. Thank you for your patience. Donations can also be made by calling 207-288-3340.

Happy Park-iversary!
